I am patient with primary open angle glaucoma. I went to a senior Ophthalmologist at BURDWAN. He just did refraction & gave me glass. But after one month even with glass there was dimness of vision. I rushed to him & conveyed it. But he said as the glass is new so it'll take time to adjust . He didn't even check my vision.

Then knowing from one of my relative I went to Dr Dibyendu Roy. He took my history with patience & performed thorough examinations including checking my intra ocular pressure. I was really surprised & shocked hearing that in my right eye which was affected most had a intraocular pressure near to 44 which is much higher than normal. He gave me medicines in the form of eye drops & after one week I regained my vision. In followup after one week intra ocular pressure in the affected eye was 20 which is near to normal.

Can you imagine if it remained undiagnosed my affected eye might have become blind.

Previously I consulted some other Ophthalmologists who couldn't diagnose that as a case of viral keratitis. My vision was deterioting day by day. Then from one of my friends I heard about Dr. Roy.

He diagnosed the case in first checkup & treated. Now I'm perfectly o.k with normal vision in affected eye.
